Governor Polis has issued an executive STAY AT HOME ORDER in Colorado except for essential needs.
Conducting “business as usual” at the Capitol will place legislators, staff, citizens, lobbyists and special interest groups in jeopardy, potentially undermining the “flatten the curve” strategy to reduce the spread of COVID-19!
In this unprecedented time of sacrifice, as a citizen of the state of Colorado I respectfully ask that the 72nd General Assembly only re-convene for the purpose of:
1. Passing a budget bill
2. Passing the School Finance Act
3. Passing the Rules Bill
4. COVID-19 related emergency bills.
All other business will resume at the 73rd General Assembly.
